Jesus
For god so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. for god did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
john 3:16-17
These are certainly the most well-known words of the Bible. These two sentences contain truth that we want you to not only know, but also find the courage and faith to believe.
1) God loves the world (including you!)
God hasn’t given up on you, because you matter deeply and personally to Him.
2) Jesus was sent and given for our salvation
Sin estranges and alienates us from God. Jesus’ life, death and resurrection makes the way back to life in God.
3) Salvation is trusting and accepting what Jesus has done
The Bible calls it “the gift of God’s grace”, which is why it’s called Good News! Like any gift, we can’t earn it but we can only receive it or reject it.
4) Jesus is the Saviour of the World
The Bible gives us only one way to be saved - by faith in what Jesus has done. Not by good works, not through religion.
You were created to know God’s love, light and life. No person, pursuit, position or possession can fill the God-shaped need within your heart.
Our greatest hope is that you’ll say yes to Jesus.
We’re inviting you to respond to Jesus…
You might be ready to begin trusting and accepting what He has done for you.
You might want to find out more about Jesus and the Christian faith.
You might not yet believe or want to make a next step. We still want you to know that God’s arms and our doors remain open wide toward you.
